United's second Europa League fixture went positive for the Mohrinho side, though not as positive as expected by the Portuguese Coach but positive enough to get the three point available for this group A Europa League Fixture.
Manchester United had lost their first game to Feyenoord in their first fixture and where at the bottom of the table, Even Zorya had a point from their draw and it was a great embarrassment for a big side like United and also for Mohrinho.
The Game with Zorya wasn't fun for United as the visitors where prepared mostly for a draw and say 15% percent for a win which was to be achieved through counter attacks, which was not what they actually did.
Zorya arranged their players in a strictly "parking the bus" lineup and it actually did upset Mohrinho since this was done just before the start of the match, Still Manchester United made out with a great squard including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford with the expectations of Leicester game in mind but it wasn't fun as the Zorya side where busy clearing the balls out then trying counters if they had a loop Hole.
The United side had a disappointing first half even with the control Manchester United had on the ball and with Mohrinho as coach you would picture the tongue lash in the dressing room.
The Game was still the same as the first 45 minutes till the 69th minutes when the substituted Rooney made a first annoying touch which might have been a goal if played properly but ended up an assist to Zlatan Ibrahimovic head for the only goal needed to take three points from their bus parking visitors.
Mohrinho had a sigh of relief but with their Visitors he expected a more glamorous win than this. He also felt something in mind concerning his next Europa League fixture which was revealed after the game. Manchester United will play Fenerbahce at Istanbul after Liverpool in three days interval and after three days Chelsea then Manchester City in EFL Cup which he tagged "United's Poisoned Gift" and assuring Manchester United will put out a good team against Fenerbahce no matter what.
He said “We could play Liverpool on the Saturday, we could play Liverpool on the Sunday but we play Liverpool on the Monday,” he said. “We have this kind of poisoned gift of playing on Monday which creates a very difficult situation but we want to try to qualify for the next round. There’s a long way to go but we will play against Fenerbahce with a good team.”
