Messi Picks Up Injury In Athletico Clash

Lionel Messi the world best player, owning a record of 5 Ballon d' Or's has now been confirmed with injury following the La Liga clash with Athletico Madrid yesterday.

Messi was sent taken out of the pitch in  the second half of the match and later confirmed to have an Abductor Tear in his right leg and will be out for weeks.

The Game between Athletico Madrid and Barcelona ended in a draw which  I believe was because of the Messi injury and Sergio Busquets flu issues, the game ended in favour of the Catalan Champions in the first half thanks to Ivan Rakitic

In the second half the game observed a change and Angel Correa found an equalizer for the Madrid side. The game remained the same till the end, Athletico Madrid taking one point at Camp Nou.

The Barcelona side might have to struggle without their key player for the next few weeks facing Sporting Gijon in La Liga, before an away trip to Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League, Primera Division clashes versus Celta Vigo and Deportivo La Coruna and meeting with Manchester City at Camp Nou on October 19.
