Liverpool 0 - 0 Manchester United : No Winner In The Red Rivalry Derby
Liverpool FC 0 - 0 Manchester United
At Amfield, there was nothing to separate between Jose Mohrinho and Kloop though Kloop's team had more of the ball but Manchester United's defense were more discipline so no mistakes were made and no goal conceded. Both teams (Liverpool and Manchester United) whose rivalry has spans for decades, winning a combined 87 trophies with 43 to Manchester United and Liverpool 44.
Liverpool had excellent control over the midfield and also excellently made Zlatan Ibrahimovic useless and properly marked, canceling out the Manchester United attack though few chances were wasted by the Manchester United attack but just one chance properly taken would have made a difference between the two teams. Herrera, Ashley Young, Rashford and Bailey worked so hard in the United team.
In the United Back, David De'Gea saved Manchester United quite a number of times in the second 45, stopping a very well take shot by Coutinho and other well taken unexpected shots taken by the Liverpool forwards.
The Liverpool side had more balls, completing a high number of passes, effective dribbling and also with alot of confidence they attack the Manchester United side back to their half, it was a show of football, and a great sign of how much work Kloop had done to the entire Liverpool Squad.
The Game ended with no goals, Manchester United securing a point from the in-form Liverpool side and remaining still at the seventh position while Liverpool will also maintain their fourth position.
Next week, Manchester United will face Chelsea at Stanford bridge and if United is to come out with something, Mohrinho should make better tactics than that against Liverpool.
