Manchester City Vs Tottenham Hotspor : Match Preview And Predictions
Manchester City Vs Tottenham Hotspur
The coming weekend will have Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur after a very awful weekend with the Merseyside Blue (Everton).
Pep Guardiola has had a rough time in the Premier League since his coming and was the first to have a good time this season but recently the tides seem to fluctuate as his side concedes more goals and losing vital games especially to top flight teams of the EPL.
Manchester City has in six games lost two games while their visitors on Saturday are unbeaten in their last six games with Chelsea the League leaders also victim's of their last 6 victories.
A loss for City in this fixture will directly affect their title hopes as other teams will shift further than them or even overtake them and with the confidence acquired through Tottenham victory over City in their last clash, the Visitors will be quick to making their mark.
Team News
Erik Lamela will be out for Spurs, due to Hip injury while Jan Vertonghen will also be out due to Ankle injury, though there is high uncertainty on the extent of the injury.
Pep Guardiola on the other hand will have to improve his defense as Harry Kane won't be stoped, if Otamendi and Stones are not improved or replaced.
Pochettino will likely use a 3-4-2-1 so he can replace Vertonghen with Ben Davies and Kevin Wimmer, but no other significant changes will be made as his team have performed so well lately.
POSSIBLE STARTING LINE-UPS
Manchester City XI: Bravo; Sagna, Otamendi, Stones, Clichy; Toure, Zabaleta; Sterling, Silva, De Bruyne; Aguero.
Tottenham XI: Lloris; Dier, Alderweireld, Davies; Walker, Wanyama, Dembele, Rose; Eriksen, Alli; Kane.
Predictions
