Manchester United 4-0 Wigan : Bastian Schweinsteiger Impressive In First Start
Manchester United cruises through to the next Round of the English FA Cup with a four Nil win over Wigan, Bastian Schweinsteiger made his first start of the season with an impressive performance, scoring the last of the four goals in their victory at home.
Making nine changes to his starting line up against Hull City, starting Martial who had been left out of the team in their last few fixtures. Manchester United delayed in taking their chances but just before the Half time whistle, the old and Rusty Schweinsteiger as some might say got his game back, created and assist for Marouane Fellaini to give United a win.
Martial had some good influence on the home side after shifting to the flank, assisting Chris Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the second and third goal before Schweinsteiger made his mark on the Score sheet concluding the win.
Wayne Rooney today was honored for his new record of 250 goals and this was presented personally by Sir Bobby Charlton himself before the start of this FA Cup tie.
Manchester United now proceed to the next stage of the competition (5th stage) presently in the Europa League, EFL CUP Final, and the English League.
