Manchester United 3-0 St Etienne : Zlatan Ibrahimovic Gives United 3 Goal Advantage
Manchester United decided they need to Scale through in their first leg of the round of 32 of the Europa League hitting St Etienne 3 Nil at full time.
Jose Mohrinho staged a mildly strong side against the French side, with Marouane Fellaini, Herrera in the Mid Field and Paul Pogba also defensively, who was the fire in the middle for the United side Juan Mata also playing behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic came close to scoring as the United point man Zlatan but was repeatedly denied by the French side keeper.
Manchester United dominated the first 45, taking up all the possession and shooting seven shots at goal and scoring just one. Marouane Fellaini was replaced by Lingard in the second 45, he didn't contribute much due to his lack of confidence.
St Etienne had some chances early in the game through Eric Bailey's early mistakes but the Manchester United defence was able to make it out with out conceding.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a Hat-trick which now increases his goal tally to 23 for the season also showing how important his presence was for the team.
United will go into the second leg with a three goal lead which is a big Mountain for the French side to climb, though not impossible, it will be hard
