Lionel Messi To Face Two To Four Match Suspension



The FC Barcelona Star Lionel Messi is due to face two to four Match Suspension after been reported to have verbally abused linesman Marcelo Van Gasse during the second have of their 1Nil win over Chile on Thursday.

The Argentinian was reported to CONMEBOL for yelling “F*** off, your mother’s c***” and also refused to shake hands with the officials after the game. The incident which was not initially recorded in the Match Report was added in Monday and submitted to CONMEBOL.

The South American federation have decided that the Argentinian will start his Suspension today, which implies that he will not be featuring in their international fixture against Bolivia. Already facing some uncertainty with a depleted roster, this will be an even greater challenge for the Argentinian.
