Arsene Wenger On Route To Signing Two Year Deal With Arsenal

Arsene Wenger had been criticized in the second half of the season due to his side missing out on the regular top - four position, which is a bench mark for Champions League Qualification in the Premier League.
The 67 year old had problems with his team supporters and most wanted him to leave the clubs, expressing it through banners, flying planes, #-tags and even protested in training grounds. Wenger had his contract running out by the end of the season and though missing out on Champions League Qualification, he ended the season well with the FA Cup trophy which is the clubs thirteenth and under his Managerial time with the club seventh.
Arsene Wenger's problems started put with the Humiliating eviction from the Champions League by Bayern Munich in the round of 16, then missing out of the top four which automatically leaves them out of Champions League Qualification which blinds the fans  appealing consolation of FA Cup trophy, which is the clubs first trophy in a while now.
According to ESPN Sources , however, that Wenger wants to remain at the helm and that the broad outline of an extended contract was agreed, but not signed, six months ago. crucially, the two-year deal agreed by Wenger in November remains in place and sources expect it to be signed if his authority remains unchallenged by any changes requested by Gazidis and the board.
This Leaves Arsene Wenger in the Arms majority shareholder Stan Kroenke, who supports the manager, with chief executive Ivan Gazidis also prepared to retain the former Monaco coach on the proviso that changes are made behind the scenes in order to ensure that the club can make a smooth transition to a new manager once Wenger eventually vacates
