Pep Guardiola faces Arsenal again, but this time in a crucial game which will possibly hand him his first trophy in English football and has promised his team will learn from their defeat in the FA Cup this week.
Wigan defeated Manchester City 1-Nil, leaving city with three trophies to contend for this season and Pep Guardiola speaking ahead of the final in Wembley this Sunday said
"We have to win titles to give more value to what we have done," he said. "In the beginning of August, we said we will be judged by how many we win. It is the same for the five or six big contenders.
He continued: "I don't like to lose competitions. What happened at Wigan, maybe I'd prefer to lose Premier League games than FA Cup, because now we've dropped a competition.
"But that's football, it has happened and we can just focus on the next one and try to get better.
"All we can do is learn from Wigan."
The Catalan also made mention of a few injury problems, he may face while building a team for the EFL (Carabao) Cup final on Sunday.
"We will see." he said: "He has a muscular problem. He had it against Basel. I don't know if he will be ready for Sunday."
"He deserves to play in the final," "Without him we would not be here. He's going to play."
