PSG coach Unai Emery has denied reports of a Neymar surgery, which might place him on the sidelines till the end of the season.

Saying the 26 year old Brazilian could still be fit to face Real Madrid in their Champions League second leg clash in Paris next week

"Neymar wants to play every game - he's focused on Real," he added.

"I think there's a small chance that he'll be ready for the match."

"For Neymar there has been no decision to have an operation," said Emery. " club issued an official statement: it said how the player was medically.

"Things [like operations] aren't decided just like that. You need discussions with the doctor, the player, his entourage.

"To make such an important decision you need tranquility and a bit of patience.

"Right now, I don't think you need anything else. There's a lot of information from outside, but the truth is what I told you, which is what the doctor told me."

Neymar Jr. Confirmed Out For 3-Months Due To Surgery On Fractured Metatarsal

Neymar Jr. is set to stay on the sidelines for about three months, as he intends to go under the knife for a fractured metatarsal and a sprained ankle. An injury he got during their 3 Nil trashing of Marseille on Sunday.

The Brazilian will miss the Round Of 16 second leg clash with Real Madrid, whom they trail with two goals in their bid to qualify for this year's UEFA Champions League Quarter Final.

He has scored to 29 goals in 30 games this season since moving to Ligue 1 from Spanish Giants Barcelona.
The 26 year old is expected to be fit a month before the start of the season after he undergoes the Surgery.

Presently, 14 points ahead of second place Monaco on the league table, facing another big test against Marseille and will be expecting Champions League holders Real Madrid. It remains very obvious, his presence will be missed.

Marseille defender and former Aston villa left-back Jordan Amavi  has accused the Brazilian of constantly looking for fouls in their 3 Nil win.

"We played normally against Neymar. I found him looking for things [fouls].

"I am just telling you what I saw on the pitch. He waited for us to press and then released the ball at the last minute.

"What did he expect? Personally, I do not know, I think he was looking for things though. He reaped a little of what he sowed.
"Everybody knows that he has the talent, but he waited for us to press before releasing the ball."
