Shakur Stevenson Breaks Down Felix Caraballo, Stops Him In Six ↑ Grab this Headline Animator WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against  Felix Caraballo , working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night. Stevenson toyed with his opponent, breaking him down with every shot before, eventually ending the fight with a big body shot in the sixth round. The shot sent  Caraballo  to his knees and his gloves on the canvas and while stuck there because of the pains, the referee Tony Weeks was forced to end the fight at exactly 1:31 of the sixth. With the win, the 2016 silver medallist Stevenson retained his unbeaten record and improved to (14-0, 8KOs). Roman Kopylov in the event headliner caused a major upset despite going in as an underdog , defeating Abdulsupyan Alikhanov, with some good beating that ended up involving the Alikhanov corner call the fight to a stop.

Kopylov (7-0, 7 KOs) ensured his unbeaten record remained intact, despite the former champion testing his guts in the early rounds of the 185 pound title fight but Kopylov to that all in, messed with his plans and  ended up taking his title.

Alikhanov began to see the best of Kopylov in the second round, when he actually settled, defended a take down, sent Alikhanov some good strikes which ended up creating a cut in his fore head.

The third round was more of the second while the fourth had Alikhanov try to prove some point but Kopylov, had more on him in that prompting Alikhanov's corner stop the fight, preventing a fifth round.
