Shakur Stevenson Breaks Down Felix Caraballo, Stops Him In Six ↑ Grab this Headline Animator WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against  Felix Caraballo , working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night. Dustin Poirier (24-5 MMA, 16-4 UFC) recorded a second round Stoppage over Alvarez (29-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) in the rematch of their May 2017 at UFC 211 Bout which ended a no-contest due to when Alvarez landed a pair of illegal knees while Poirier was downed.

Poirier went absolutely ballistic towards the fourth minute of the second round, started with a left hand And a knee to the body came after it. Poirier recongnizing Alvarez was hurt, and he poured it on. Punch after punch, elbows, kicks, knees – Alvarez wouldn’t go down. But then he finally did, and Goddard stepped in to shut it down.

“Just look at my track record,” Poirier said: “Eddie Alvarez, former champ. Anthony Pettis, former champ. Justin Gaethje, former (WSOF) champ. Eddie Alvarez, former champ.
