Shakur Stevenson Breaks Down Felix Caraballo, Stops Him In Six ↑ Grab this Headline Animator WBO featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson made a successful 130 pound debut against  Felix Caraballo , working him down to a sixth round stoppage victory in a non title fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center on Tuesday night. Stevenson toyed with his opponent, breaking him down with every shot before, eventually ending the fight with a big body shot in the sixth round. The shot sent  Caraballo  to his knees and his gloves on the canvas and while stuck there because of the pains, the referee Tony Weeks was forced to end the fight at exactly 1:31 of the sixth. With the win, the 2016 silver medallist Stevenson retained his unbeaten record and improved to (14-0, 8KOs). former world champion Austin Trout (31-5-1, 17 KOs) and Olympian Terrell Gausha (21-2, 10 KOs) both battled to a disputable twelve round split draw with scores were 99-91 for Gausha, 96-94 for Trout, and 95-95, attracting boos from spectators for they all saw Gausha as a clear winner.

Trout was making it back from a majority decision loss to Jermell Charlo while Gausha came in the back of a knockout win over Joey Hernandez.

Gausha was the aggressor from the opening bell and took control over other first two rounds. Trout actually settled in the third round, started to detract the pace of the fight.

Both fighters fought close, Gausha was controlling the fight, tactically landing the flusher punches.  but Trout was making the fight as close as possible with his body work.

Gausha landed more jabs at ease and gave Trout problems with his movement, through the was still doing some hard work but but his timing appeared to be off a bit.

Trout finally took over the fight totally in the last round, letting his hand go in a bid to impress the judges but the Gausha stood his ground and was able to withstand tiltthe final bell.
