Tyson Fury's Promoter Digs Into Deontay Wilder For Ridiculous Excuses
Frank Warren, Promoter of WBC Heavyweight titlist Tyson Fury is totally unhappy with Deontay Wilder for the "Ridiculous Excuses" his being giving the media after his loss.
The newly crowned WBC champion Fury, made a big statement on February 22nd, when he executed a perfect one sided beatdown on Wilder, dropping h twice in the third and the fifth round respectively en route to a seventh round stoppage victory at the MGM Grand.
After losing the fight, Wilder said his poor performance was due to his 40 pound ring walk outfit, which weakened his legs and left him exhusted from the third round.

The Former WBC champion has most recently given another "excuse", saying he got injured during the fight and needed to undergo a surgery on his left Biceps. However, Warren believes that the Alabama knockout artist should just move on and stop making excuses for his loss.
"It's just pathetic. To even be coming up with those ridiculous excuses is just...," Warren told IFL TV.Wilder has since triggered a rematch clause that guarantees a third fight between the two. The fight was initially scheduled for June but has since been pushed back due to the ongoing Corona Virus Pandemic. It is now tentative for October.
"Look, you get beat, you get beat. If anybody should be complaining, it should be Tyson Fury after the first fight when he got robbed. That's the only debate in either of these two fights. First fight he got robbed and the second fight he took him to school.
"He outboxed him, he out-gamed him, he out-punched him and he showed another side of his boxing skills. [Wilder] should just get on with it and move on. If he wants the third fight, let's get it on and he can prove his point in the ring. I don't think he will.
"Before the fight he never complained about any injuries, he said he trained really well for the fight. I'm surprised with Deontay, because I've got a lot of time for him."
