Kamaru Usman Has Conor McGregor Option For Title Defence - Manager
The UFC welterweight division is presently red hot and with Just too many contenders angling for a shot against UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. However, He seem to have a big option for his next title defence.
Before now, Usman was linked with a summer title defence against BMF title holder Jorge Masvidal but it seems "GameBred" is angling towards a rematch with Nate Diaz, which has indirectly forced Usman into search for other available options.
According to Usman's trainer Ali Abdelaziz, Usman could give Conor McGregor a title shot if Masvidal isn't ready to take a shot at the welterweight title.

Abdelaziz made the statement, while speaking to UFC's broadcast partners ESPN on Sunday
The fight between the welterweight champion and the former two division champion was speculated twice in the past but failed to come to fruition. Kamaru Usman had expressed several months ago an interest in facing McGregor and the Irishman also expressed interest in winning a title in the Welterweight division after his win over Donald Cerrone at UFC 246.
The fight between Kamaru Usman and Conor McGregor is still under speculation but both did very well in their last outing. Conor McGregor finished off Donald Cerone within a minute at UFC 246 headliner, while Usman dug deep to stop his arch rival Colby Covington to retain his welterweight title some months ago.
